POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS

Postdoctoral positions are available in the Nusrat and Parkos laboratories for studies focusing on epithelial cell biology, innate immunity and pathophysiology of epithelial inflammation. Opportunities exist for involvement in exciting projects with special emphasis on barrier function/tight junctions, cell-cell adhesion, cell-matrix associations and innate immunity/leukocyte-epithelial interactions. Available research projects provide ample opportunities to master a wide variety of experimental approaches including the use of transgenic animals, molecular biochemistry (cloning, mutagenesis, structural protein biochemistry and antibody production), sophisticated microscopy, epithelial physiology and translational studies with human tissues.
